Studio Work
Within the studio, Elaine has worked collaboratively and solo. She is comfortable using the control desk, way lines, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, as well as setting up the studio space. This included microphone choices and placement. One of the key aspects of a good and productive studio session is rapport and make it an important part to ensure the artist is comfortable.

Queen's Cup Studio Session

Queen's Cup is a local Wellington band that recorded 2 songs over a week at the Massey University main studio. Drums and bass guitar were recorded over two days with guitars and trumpet recorded over the other two days.

Elaine was key to set up and assisted the sound engineer with microphone placement. During recording, she was in charge of Pro Tools with the influence of the sound engineer. She was also a part of the pack down.
